The project is at its final funding stage. A lot has been accomplished using the investments mobilized.

- The Sovelmash Design and Engineering Technology Department (D&E) has been built, where energy-efficient electric motors will be developed and put into production.
- A state-of-the-art equipment stock has been built, which will make it possible not only to develop, but also to mass produce in-house developed innovative products. The D&E capacities include metalworking, test, casting, winding and other areas.
- There is a laboratory where high-precision testing of electric motors is carried out.
- A number of innovative developments have been made: the world's first traction combined winding motor, the world's first induction hub motor, the world's first quadcopter powered by induction motors, an electrically powered Slavyanka based angle grinder and others.

Sovelmash is gearing up to obtain the documents that will make it possible to officially launch the enterprise.
