Digest of march: project "New Generation Airships"
We summarize March and record the project’s key development milestones.
Airship envelope production
The production site is nearly ready to begin operations.
— Preparation of the workspace is being finalized, and comfortable conditions have been created for the team.
— Equipment has been received and is being commissioned: HF welding machines, a fabric auto-feeder, a cutting table, a compressor, as well as material-handling equipment for internal logistics.
The next stage is commissioning the production line and producing the first prototype envelopes.
NOVA-2
In parallel with launching envelope production, preparations are underway for assembling the large NOVA-2 airship.
— Key components are in progress: the tail assembly, landing gear, and propeller-motor assemblies.
— The welded airship envelope is expected as early as summer 2026.
AEROLЁT-01
Work on the craft is nearing completion.
— The envelope has been refined, leak-tested, and filled with gas.
— Components of the nose gondola and tail section have been assembled.
— The structure has been brought to a near-final state.
Next steps: final securing of assemblies on the envelope, connecting the electronics, onboard computer, and batteries, a comprehensive check of all systems, and addressing remaining design details.
After that, the craft will return to flight testing.
NOVA-01
Testing continues as planned.
— Autopilot-assisted flights are being conducted.
— Data are being collected to refine the algorithms and improve control precision.
Licensing and certification
Documents have been submitted to Minpromtorg to obtain a developer’s license.
This is a mandatory step for launching series production and further certification.
NOVA-02
An advertising airship with a volume of over 200 m³ will join the "AERONOVA" model line.
The project is in development and aimed at international demand.
