Moving into series production and the first visit by customers: february in SOLARGROUP projects
In February, both projects made progress in the development and release of proprietary products.
DUYUNOV MOTORS
The project is on the verge of obtaining authorization to commission the «Sovelmash» engineering center. The company is fine-tuning production processes and manufacturing products.
- New equipment was delivered and installed: casting tooling, a die for blanking rotor segments, and a sprue-trimming machine.
- Work was underway to fine-tune serial production technologies for electric motors. The first segments for a 305 frame-size aircraft motor were stamped on the press. The first angle grinder rotors were cast on the high-pressure die-casting machine.
- Refinement of proprietary products continued. A sample unit of an induction motor controller was manufactured. Prototypes of a harmonic drive component were fabricated in metal.
- Tests were conducted on the aircraft electric motor for the «Motylek» drone, with a cooling turbine and a propeller. The drone’s flight controller was tuned.
- Guests visited «Sovelmash»: a group of entrepreneurs from Ivanovo, and Academician Lev Makarov, Chief Designer of the «Ruselprom» concern. All of them were at the facility for the first time and were impressed by the high level of organization at the DETB.
NEW GENERATION AIRSHIPS
At «AERONOVA», the second airship model is being assembled and the first is undergoing flight tests. Envelope production is being established, and negotiations with customers are underway.
- Work continued on the NOVA-2 airship. The first section of the empennage has been assembled. The gondola design has been completed, and key parts for it have been almost entirely manufactured. A full development and production cycle for the onboard electrical system has been launched.
- The unmanned NOVA-01 airship successfully completed flight tests.
- The envelope of the «AEROLЁT-01» craft was upgraded.
- Preparations have begun for in-house production of airship envelopes. According to forecasts, the first units could be produced in April 2026.
- A tear-off test stand was manufactured for testing envelope load-bearing elements. Test rigs for the spring and the generator are under development.
- Commercial activities and visitors. The first customer visited «AERONOVA». Negotiations are underway with foreign partners from Egypt and the UAE. Partners from South Africa visited the facility.
In the «Duyunov Motors» project, until March 31, reinstatement of installment plans with a single payment.
In the «New Generation Airships» project, until April 12, sale of zero-stage shares formed from canceled installment plans is open.
