New tests of the super-heavy drone "Motylyok (Moth)"
LLC Sovelmash conducted flight tests of a drone with an upgraded frame design. Their purpose was to refine both the software and other UAV components, as well as to build operator proficiency, since a super-heavy-class drone behaves in the air very differently from its lighter counterparts.
Dmitry Duyunov noted following the tests: “With each flight, things are getting better and better. ‘Motylyok (Moth)’ is becoming more stable. It executes maneuvering commands more confidently. Spatial stabilization has improved.”
The propellers, however, required adjustments.
