📄 License from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation
«AERONOVA» obtained a perpetual license from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for activities in the field of aviation technology. The license has been in effect since 1 April 2026 and covers development and research work on lighter-than-air aircraft.
🏭 Start of envelope production
The company is moving from equipment setup to actual production of airship envelopes. The first components for the receiver have already been manufactured, and welding and preparation processes are being refined ahead of creating a full-scale envelope for NOVA-2 approximately 40 meters long.
🛠 Production of the composite spring for NOVA-2
At the production site in Zhukovsky, the mold for the NOVA-2 airship’s composite spring has been completed.
Composite lay-up is underway to provide the spring with the required stiffness and strength.
🚀 NOVA-01: autopilot and testing
NOVA-01 continues flying in autopilot mode. The team is accumulating data and improving control accuracy, an important step toward the further development of autonomous systems.
✅ AEROLËT-01: readiness for operation
Assembly and preparation of the AEROLËT-01 aircraft have been completed. The engines, propellers, electronic systems, and tail steering thruster have been checked. A fault-tolerance assessment and a final torque check of assemblies have been carried out. The aircraft is ready to resume flight tests.
🎤 Scientific Readings on Aviation
On 9–10 April in Moscow, the XXIII Scientific and Technical Conference “Scientific Readings on Aviation in Memory of N. E. Zhukovsky” was held. Representing «AERONOVA», Boris Ivchenko, Vadim Zubkevich, and Dmitry Khmel delivered presentations. They presented results, engineering solutions, and development prospects for New Generation Airships.
