In the spotlight is the launch of Sovelmash’s first mass-produced product. Information about it and the option to place an order have been posted on the company’s website.
• Drone "Motylyok (Moth)". In May, a historic milestone occurred: a super-heavy-class drone completed its first stable flight. The Sovelmash team, for the first time in history, demonstrated the feasibility of developing and operating aircraft powered by asynchronous motors.
• Angle grinder. Assembly continued on the debut batch of unique angle grinders, the only ones in the world with an asynchronous drive. This is Sovelmash’s first mass-produced product.
Several production processes were also put in place during May.
• Rotor potting and varnishing of the rotor stack.
• Manufacturing and assembly of gearbox components.
• Strength tests of the Angle grinder on a vibration rig and thermal resistance tests in a climatic chamber.
• Several more pieces of equipment were installed and commissioned.
NEW GENERATION AIRSHIPS
In focus is the development of the full-scale NOVA-2 craft approximately 40 meters long.
• A prototype of one half of the composite leaf spring—an essential suspension element responsible for reliability and safety during landing—was manufactured and delivered for testing.
• Work was carried out on the creation of ultra-strong, lightweight envelopes.
• A test bench for the air-gas system was assembled to validate critical assemblies under real-world conditions before their installation on the full-scale craft.
• Production of empennage components continued.
• In addition, flight tests of the NOVA-01 and AEROLЁT-01 aircraft were conducted.
The project is preparing to complete stage 3. With the transition to stage 4, the price of project shares will increase — therefore it is more advantageous to purchase them now.
